Background

I was born in Amsterdam and migrated with my parents and younger brothers to Tasmania in the late 1950s.

I now live and work in Sydney, but I have traveled and worked extensively in diverse parts of Australia.

The landscape paintings were inspired by the environment, in which I lived, whilst the figurative works were of a more personal nature.
